Joining OpenDoc Society
Membership of OpenDoc Society is open to anyone interested in best practises for productivity tools - and ODF and PDF in particular - out of a professional or personal interest. If you want to be part of OpenDoc Society you can do this in a number of ways, as an individual or through an organisation.
As individual you can choose between a regular membership of 25 euro a year and a support membership (at no cost). Membership not only gives you access to an international network of expertise, is also gives you free or discounted access to activities, publications and services by the society. In addition you can participate in working groups and expert committeees, and provide your input on reports that will be published by the society.
If you are connected with an organisation that already participates in OpenDoc Society, membership is at no cost. That same price holds if you cannot afford the cost of membership (for example because you are a student, PHD researcher, do not have a job or are pensioned).
As supporting member you will receive our newsletters and announcements, and you stand behind the work of the society - such as Officeshots.org, ODF global recipies, and mor. If you decide to participate in events or activities, regular membership is almost certainly interesting for you.
